The Korea Road Traffic Authority conducts various job training through the Traffic Safety Education Center. An important part of this curriculum is school bus safety education for children.

The Korea Road Traffic Authority is committed to providing comprehensive passenger education programs to ensure public safety on the roads. The need for such programs is becoming increasingly important as the number of vehicles on the road has increased significantly in recent years. With the rise of automobiles, it has become essential for drivers and passengers to understand their responsibilities on the road. To meet this demand, the Road Traffic Authority has created an e-learning center to provide comprehensive educational resources to passengers.

 

We provide e-learning-based traffic safety education programs to establish traffic order and contribute to traffic safety.

Senior Driver Education
Introduction to Education
This training course is compulsory education for drivers’ license renewal (aptitude test) for drivers aged 75 or older.
It was created to learn safe driving methods considering changes in body and cognitive functions following the natural aging process.

Investigate changes in cognitive motor abilities of elderly drivers and learn safe driving methods according to aging.

Education target

Drivers over the age of 75 who are subject to regular driver’s license inspection (renewal)

School bus safety education for children

 

This curriculum is aimed at those who work in automobiles, etc. (school buses for children) used for children to go to school.
By conducting online education on the role and safety rules by job category, and the safety of children getting on and off the school bus,
It is designed to improve traffic order and prevent traffic accidents involving children.

emergency vehicle training

This training course is compulsory education for emergency vehicle drivers.
It is designed to develop the ability and skills to prevent traffic accidents.

Understand the concept and characteristics of emergency vehicles and have a sense of safe driving.

Education target

Motor vehicle drivers under Article 2, Subparagraph 22, Items A through C of the Road Traffic Act
Drivers of vehicles falling under each subparagraph of Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Road Traffic Act

Classification of education

New Traffic Safety Education

Education for emergency vehicle drivers prior to driving
Regardless of whether or not driving an existing emergency vehicle, all persons receiving training for the first time at the Corporation are included in the new traffic safety training.
Regular traffic safety education

Training conducted regularly every three years for emergency vehicle drivers
Example) If you took traffic safety education for emergency vehicles on October 15, 2020, the next course period is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023.

New traffic safety training: 3 hours / KRW 18,000

Traffic Safety Instructor Training

Education of traffic safety teachers (kindergarten, elementary school, middle/high school)
This curriculum is aimed at teachers in charge of traffic safety and provides traffic safety necessary for children and adolescents.
Cultivation of traffic order awareness and children and youth by passing on professional knowledge and learning methods
It is designed to prevent traffic accidents.

You can understand the characteristics of young children and learn educational guidance methods for each situation.

You can understand the characteristics of children’s traffic behavior and learn educational guidance methods for each situation.

middle and high school
I can explain the causes of youth traffic accidents and my attitude as a participant in the traffic environment.

Elementary school progress rate 100% + test score 80 or higher
